Everything contractors need to know about joining and using Win My Work to grow their business.
Click "Join our pro network" or visit the contractor sign-up page. You'll need to provide your business information, license details, insurance documentation, and service areas. Our team will verify your credentials, and once approved, you'll start receiving job leads in your area.
Creating your account and getting verified is free, and every new contractor starts with a 30-day free trial of the full platform. After the trial, an active subscription keeps your leads flowing - priced only on the counties you choose. There is no limit on how many counties you cover or how many services you offer, and you get volume discounts as your coverage grows. There are no signup or per-lead charges, and you can cancel anytime.
You'll need your business name, contact information, valid contractor license number, proof of insurance (general liability at minimum), a description of your services, and your service area. Having portfolio photos of past work ready is also recommended.
Verification typically completes within a few business days after you submit all required documentation. We verify your license, insurance, and business information through third-party providers. You'll receive an email notification once your account is approved.
Once your account is verified, you'll receive notifications via email, SMS, and in-app alerts when homeowners post projects that match your service categories and service area. You can also browse available projects directly from your contractor dashboard.
When you see a project that interests you, review the details including description, photos, location, and measurements. Submit your quote with a pricing breakdown. The homeowner can then compare your quote with other contractors. If they accept your bid, you pay a small 2% platform fee to unlock their contact details.
You can bid on any project that falls within your verified service categories and service area. Make sure your profile accurately reflects the services you offer and the areas you serve to receive the most relevant job notifications.
The number of bids varies by project and location. Some projects may receive just a few bids while others may get more. Submitting a detailed, competitive quote quickly gives you the best chance of being selected.
You can update your bid before the homeowner makes a selection. If you need to withdraw, you can do so from your dashboard. However, frequent withdrawals may affect your profile standing.
You start with a 30-day free trial. After that, a monthly subscription keeps your account active - priced only on the counties you select, so you pay for the markets you actually want, with discounts as you add more. There is no limit on how many counties or services you can add. Separately, when a homeowner accepts your bid, you pay a 2% platform fee based on your quoted amount to unlock their contact details. You can change your counties or cancel anytime.
Payment for work performed is handled directly between you and the homeowner, outside of the Win My Work platform. You negotiate payment terms, schedules, and methods directly with your client. Win My Work does not process payments for contracted work.
Your monthly price is based on the counties you choose to receive leads in - cover one market or many, and pay only for what you select, with volume discounts as you add counties. There is no cap on how many counties or services you can add. You see your exact price before you’re ever charged, can change your coverage anytime, and can cancel whenever you like. Pricing is always shown upfront with no hidden fees.
Yes. Your contractor profile includes a portfolio section where you can upload photos of completed projects. We recommend uploading high-quality before-and-after shots. A strong portfolio significantly increases your chances of being selected by homeowners.
After completing a project, homeowners can leave a review and rating on your profile. These reviews are verified (only homeowners who connected with you through the platform can leave reviews) and are visible to other homeowners considering your services.
Yes, you can respond to reviews left on your profile. Professional, constructive responses to both positive and negative reviews show potential clients that you care about customer satisfaction.
Negative reviews are part of any business. You can respond professionally to address concerns. If you believe a review violates our policies (contains false information, harassment, etc.), you can report it to our support team for review.
You can update your service area, service categories, and other profile information from your contractor settings page. Changes to service areas will be reflected in the job notifications you receive.
Keep your credentials up to date on the platform. If your license or insurance expires, your profile may be temporarily deactivated until updated documentation is provided and verified.
You can reach our support team at support@winmywork.com or through the help center in your contractor dashboard. We aim to respond to all inquiries promptly.
Yes, you can request account deletion by contacting support@winmywork.com. Please note that deleting your account will remove your profile, portfolio, and reviews from the platform.
